My life's journey has been a little different than I'd planned. As I have spent 63 years as a quadriplegic when I broke my neck in a car accident in 1962 while on my LDS Mission. However, I've been incredibly blessed! I have the most wonderful family & friends who have supported me in everything I've done, including a second Mission with my parents to Anaheim, CA when my parents served as Mission Presidents. Life Highlights: I graduated from BYU with a Bachelor's degree in Human Development & Family Relations, with a Minor in Psychology & Sociology. I was crowned Miss Handicap of Utah & was runner up to Miss Handicap of America. This opened the door for me to spend a lot of time helping handicapped individuals. I've authored a few books which have been published. My first book was "The Spirit Knows No Handicap." I've also authored "The Magic Doll", "Hee Haw the Christmas Donkey", & a coloring book with my life story. Along with a few additional stories; "Some Call Penny Lucky", & the current book I'm working on which will be titled "You Can Trust the Lord." I was the editor of the weekly Ward Newsletter for 10 years. & was the editor of the monthly newsletter for "Weber's Warriors" for 30 years. I have served in many church callings, as a teacher in Young Women's, Relief Society, Sunday School and served as Primary President. I've spoken in front of thousands of people as a Motivational/Inspirational Speaker throughout the US. And last month KSL news aired a motivational story about my life. I have attached the link below. https://ksltv.com/goodnews/the-becky-reeve-story/744671/ As I said above, my life definitely didn't turn out as I'd planned & prepared for, BUT it did turn out GREAT! I have a friend helping me write this letter. I wasn't sure of your email address, so please let me know when you have received this & if you need anything else.. Sincerely, Becky Reeve
